SENSEI RX Series
The Rinnai SENSEI RX is a condensing tankless water heater that sets the efficiency standard at 0.98 UEF. It heats water only as it is drawn, so hot water is effectively unlimited, and one model runs on either natural gas or propane. On a hydronic project it serves as the domestic-hot-water side of a combi arrangement, or feeds a hydronic air handler for space heating.
Continuous hot water, condensing efficiency
A tankless heater has no standby tank to keep hot, so it wastes little energy between draws and takes up roughly the space of a carry-on suitcase on the wall. At 0.98 UEF the SENSEI RX is among the most efficient units of its kind.
Smart Sense adaptive gas-valve technology lets a single model run on natural gas or liquid propane with no conversion kit.
Built for the installer
The SENSEI RX installs indoors or outdoors with the same model, uses the Versa Vent outdoor vent cap for flexible venting, and has a Quick Flush routine that simplifies annual maintenance. Smart Connect Bluetooth handles setup and registration through the Rinnai Central app.
The RXP variant adds a built-in recirculation pump with Smart-Circ Intelligent Recirculation, so hot water reaches distant fixtures quickly without a separate external pump.

Where it fits

Warranty
Rinnai gives its residential condensing tankless water heaters a limited warranty of up to 15 years on the heat exchanger, with shorter terms on other parts and on labour; the exact terms depend on the application and on the unit being registered. Milani registers the unit at installation.
