Healthy Climate® UV Germicidal Lights
Healthy Climate® UV Germicidal Lights are ultraviolet lamps mounted inside the ductwork near the indoor coil. Lennox rates them the highest UV intensity on the market. Their main job is keeping the coil and drain pan free of mould and biofilm; they also reduce airborne germs on each pass.
Cleaner coil, cleaner air
The cool, wet surface of an air-conditioning coil is where mould and bacteria tend to grow — which then get blown into the house and drag down system efficiency. A UV-C lamp aimed at the coil suppresses that growth continuously, so the coil stays clean between services.
How Milani installs it
Whole-home Lennox air quality equipment installs in the ductwork near the furnace or air handler, so it treats the air every time the system's blower runs — no portable units to move between rooms. Milani sizes it to the system's airflow, sets it up with the thermostat where applicable, and shows you the filter or lamp maintenance schedule.
Warranty
Lennox Healthy Climate® equipment carries a limited warranty on the covered components; terms vary by product and registration. Lamps are a maintenance item, replaced about once a year. Milani registers the system at installation.
