PureAir™ Air Purification System
The PureAir™ system, per Lennox, cleans the air in your home better than any other single system you can buy. It runs a three-step process on the air that passes through the ductwork, targeting particles, germs and odors together.
Three steps in one cabinet
First, a Carbon Clean 16® MERV 16 media filter captures particles and bioaerosols down to 0.01 micron. Second, those trapped contaminants are exposed to photocatalytic oxidation. Third, a UVA lamp and a titanium-dioxide catalyst convert odor and VOC molecules into trace amounts of carbon dioxide and water vapor.
No ozone
Unlike some ionizing air cleaners, PureAir produces no ozone and is designed to reduce the ozone already in the home's air — which matters because ozone is itself a respiratory irritant.
