Highly Filtered Water Saver Softening Combo
The Water Saver Softening Combo pairs the passive H2 ZERO carbon filter with the CK10 softener. Because the carbon stage never backwashes, the only water the system sends to the drain is the softener's regeneration brine — roughly half the total of the standard combo.
Filtration with no backwash
The H2 ZERO carbon component filters chlorine and contaminants with no electricity, no backwash and no waste, and meets NSF/ANSI Standard 61. Softening then happens in the CK10: hardness minerals attach to the resin beads and are flushed away with brine during regeneration.
Cutting out the filter's backwash cycle is where the water saving comes from, without giving up filtration performance.
Who it suits
A good pick for hard-water homes on a well or on metered water, or anywhere reducing drain water matters. It is still a two-tank plus brine-tank install with a drain requirement.

How Milani installs and looks after it
Milani installs HALO equipment on the main line where water enters the home (or, for drinking-water and point-of-use units, under the kitchen sink), tests your water first so the system is matched to what you actually have, and sets it up with the correct bypass and shut-offs so future service is simple.
