HALO 5
The HALO 5 treats every drop of water as it enters the house, combining five filtration and conditioning stages in a single stainless-steel tank. It targets chlorine, chloramine, sediment, heavy metals and the tastes and odours that come with municipal water, and adds salt-free scale conditioning so limescale stops building on pipes and fixtures.
Five stages in one tank
Water passes down through layered media: granular activated carbon (GAC) for chlorine, chloramine, gases, heavy metals, pesticides and VOCs; a high-activity carbon (HAC) polish that works across a wide pH range; Filter-AG Plus® to drop suspended matter to about 5 microns; and high-density garnet to support the bed and filter to 10–20 microns.
The fifth stage is the in-line HALO ION 2.0 conditioner — a permanent magnetic field that keeps calcium and magnesium in suspension so they rinse away instead of forming scale, and gradually dissolves scale that is already there.

How Milani installs and looks after it
Milani installs HALO equipment on the main line where water enters the home (or, for drinking-water and point-of-use units, under the kitchen sink), tests your water first so the system is matched to what you actually have, and sets it up with the correct bypass and shut-offs so future service is simple. Where a unit has replaceable cartridges or media, we tell you the schedule and supply the parts.
